Baby is the size of an ear of corn! A foot long and about a pound.
Weight: Up to about 8 lbs weight gain - not too shabby.
Sleep/Energy: Sleep has been....okay. I am thankful for my body pillow and the fact that J doesn't mind it taking up room in the bed.
Cravings/Aversions: No aversions, but with heartburn setting in hard core, I need to keep an eye on what I'm eating....and keep the Tums close at hand.
General Symptoms: Aside from the heartburn, I've started getting pretty winded when walking, but otherwise feel pretty good!
Movement: LOTS! I'm assuming she is still head up based on the amount of knocks to my cervix I've been getting lately. She'll be up in my ribs soon enough, so maybe I shouldn't complain.
Appointments: Had another prenatal appointment today and the doctor said the anatomy scan from a few weeks ago was perfect. Baby girl is perfect and everything is measuring right where it should be. Next appointment is on New Year's Eve, then its on to third trimester, the glucose tolerance test, and appointments every two weeks. Whoa.
Best Moment of the Week: Getting all of the beautiful cloth diapers we ordered in the mail. They're so tiny! We're also painting the nursery this week - I'm so excited to see everything come together!
Just for kicks, here is a comparison of me at 24 weeks with C and at 23 weeks with baby girl. Just a little different, eh? Holy moly, did I carry C high!
